Artist. Designer. Storyteller. UX/UI Designer
Greg Brophy, a Web UX/UI Designer from New York City who loves solving problems and getting his hands dirty.
Below are some quick samples of my work. I am very friendly so please don't hesitate to contact me for any inquiries you might have.
Who Am I
I started at an early age of drawing everything I could. Those abilities took me to Syracuse where my interests roamed all over and my harnessed my skills. Everything from sculpture, design, photography and illustration. After leaving school I discovered the exciting world of web design, took a class in HTML and had a job before I even finished the class.
That was then, now I have been working for 22 years applying all my passions into creating rich and easy to use sites for web and mobile platforms that makes using a site seem-less and easy.
What I Do
Design allows me to use all my skills and passions together. I have worked for some of the largest most prestigious Ad Agency's to small start ups in the attic of a dentists' office. I have done everything from creating books, full fledged music applications and managing large e-commerce sites. I have been involved in all the steps in making a project come alive.
For the past 7 years I have been focused on the UX and design side of B&H Photo, a large electronics superstore in NYC.
What I Know
My skills include all of the applications in the Adobe creative suite, Sketch and the Microsoft Office Suite. I can code HTML, and CSS. I have a working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP and I have used multiple CMS systems.
During my previous two jobs I have supervised one to two assistant junior designers to aid in the creation of our projects.
